We realised this weekend at the volunteer fair that “Guiders” seem to have a bad reputation in terms of being boring, set in our ways and a generally bit sad – and we just don’t think that’s the case!
I personally have done more exciting things as a leader than as a guide and have set goals and achieved challenges that I would never have done if I wasn’t involved in guiding. We, as Henley Guiders would like to get more women involved in guiding and to give people a better idea of what we do!
